The Google Ads policy requires that I have a page on my website stating my “Privacy Policy”. I really do care about maintaining privacy (yours and mine), so I suppose it is a good idea to have a page like this. But I just can’t bring myself to write some obscure legalese that you won’t read anyway. So I’ll try to keep it short and sweet. Here goes…
Google Ads: I have Google Ads running on my site. Some of the ads may create cookies. Cookies are small files stored on your computer and they can be used to track where you’ve been surfing. I have almost no control over what ads are shown and I don’t have any control over what information the Google Ads collect.
Contact information: I have a contact page. This page takes whatever information you provide and emails it to me. Now, I doubt that anybody is sniffing my email for notorious purposes. Nevertheless, email is not 100% secure. So please don’t put sensitive information (like credit card numbers, etc) in this message.
I promise: I will never sell, lease, or give your email address or other information to any 3rd party without getting permission from you in writing — unless that 3rd party is the police and they have a warrant. In that case, I will rat you out in a heart-beat.
That’s about it. If you have questions or concerns, contact me.
